		<description>I find Gladwell&#039;s writing very entertaining, and thought-provoking as well. I think that he misses a key point though. In my experience, true outliers tend to maximize the probability of &quot;good luck&quot; by keeping their eyes open and always looking for opportunities. They often say &quot;yes&quot; when given a chance to learn something new or take advantage of a situation. So, are they lucky? Yes. Do they tend to &quot;make their own luck?&quot; I&#039;d also have to say yes.</description>
