I like both the stereo and mono sets for different reasons. There is no doubt that the mono is wonderful in the new masters. We have been accustomed to bing spoiled with multiple speakers and sounds bouncing all over the room. There is something about the monos that is without a doubt better than the am radio, and yet I still manage to hear new nuances through the monos that to me are absolutely amazing. Truly, some are much better than the stereo or 5.1 mp3's we turn them into can ever be. In my little iPod with the white buds, the monos are wonderful. Would I get rid of the stereo set? No. Some I just plain like better there. As an additional thought, I STILL prefer Abbey Road directly from the vinyl with several of the tracks uncut because I really admire the way the Beatles transitioned from one song to another...that one I like in the orginal format the best, but uncut with the mp3's.

You're absolutely right, and I'm sure we wouldn't argue so much if you weren't so wrong about so many things :-)

Or ... now think about this a minute before you decide ... or
you could give it to me. Huh? Huh? Pretty good. Huh?

David, we have so much common ground; why should we argue?

The Beatles still rule!

Ruthie just found a memento from the 60's...it's a copy of the Beatles' white album signed to her after they appeared on Laugh In. It says, "Ruthie, thanks for a great 2 weeks. Love John Lennon" in blue ink, in his handwriting.

I think I might stick it on Ebay and auction it off for charity..what'cha think about that idea?
