Thanks David for your kind thoughts. We as a family are sponsoring a family that the Mom has been a victim of domestic violence. The woman we are working with this year has three children just about the ages of my grandchildren, so we will go shopping for our family coming out of violence and homelessness. I can not think of a better way to love my granchildren than this.

I love this – I sometimes need a reminder that I have so much more than I need and there are so many in a different world than the one I float around in!
Plus, reading this just made the holidays seem lighter.
And David, who knew under that disguise you are a true philanthropist!

Thanks for your kind thoughts, David. Hopefully, some good will come from the kindness that we all show to others again this year at this time of giving. We did this last year, and felt much better come Christmas morning as a result.

Speaking of which, I’ve been meaning to tell you. If you’ve noticed that homeless guy roaming around Northridge during the last twelve months with the toothless grin and the ‘68 Les Paul Gold-Top sticking out of his shopping cart, be sure and tell him “You’re welcome” the next time you see him.
